Shangri-La’s LEAP Celebrates Grand Opening
Shangri-La’s Life Enrichment Activities Program held it’s grand opening today.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was led by members of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce with Shangri-La’s Employment Services Director Teri Marsh cutting the ribbon. Shangri-La CEO Jan Kral then talked about why LEAP was started and how it is looking to double it’s size in the near future to serve more people with disabilities.
Those in attendance included State Representative Kevin Cameron, LEAP participants, Shangri-La supporters, staff members and employees, family members and several members of the community.
Shangri-La would like to thank everyone who came and supported us, a thanks to Teri Marsh and her team, Chris Schwarz, Russ Estep, Sandi Bjorkman, Deb Taylor, Vanessa Stockton, Rosanne and Jim Schrull, and a most special thank you to interior designer Linda Coffeen who volunteered to help us design LEAP’s awesome activity spaces.
