Over the weekend of August 21st and 22nd, Shangri-La in Lincoln County participated in the 6th annual Toledo Wooden Boat Show. We had a kid’s activity booth where they got to paint ceramic seashells, seahorses, and starfishes. Over 250 children either participated in the activities at the booth or took home a packet with stickers, paint, a ceramic item, paintbrush and a flyer about Shangri-La.

The participants expressed how much they enjoyed and appreciated the activities and everyone working the booth had a wonderful experience. There were many different styles of wooden boats, boat rides, boat building, and just about something for everyone. The location and weather were fantastic and everyone involved enjoyed watching the children have fun and we enjoyed being part of this great event in our community.
