It’s amazing how fast time passes when you’re having fun. Shangri-La’s Life Enrichment Activities Program (LEAP) celebrated their 1st year anniversary today. LEAP participants, staff, friends and visitors all gathered for refreshments and enjoyed seeing how much the program has grown in just a year.

LEAP was started as a way to provide varied life enrichment activities for people with developmental disabilities. LEAP participants are able to choose from a variety of activities for them to engage in such as, crafts, outings, gardening, a book club, learn how to navigate and use the Internet, social activities, listening to music, play games and even work on small production jobs.
