Founded in 1963, The Shangri-La Corporation is a nonprofit organization which provides homes, jobs and supports to Oregonians with disabilities or economic challenges.
Based in Salem, Oregon, Shangri-La employs over 550 people in the Mid-Willamette Valley and on the Oregon Central Coast. Approximately 150 employees have significant barriers to employment, including various disabilities.
With over 100 service locations throughout 9 Oregon Counties, Shangri-La’s efforts continue to engage, inspire, and create the vision of Many Lives, One Community.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing homes, jobs and supports to Oregonians with disabilities or economic challenges.
